Temp Mails

Terms of Service

1. The service

Temp Mails provides free, disposable email addresses that can receive mail for one hour. It cannot send email. After an inbox expires, it and all of its messages and attachments are deleted permanently. The service is operated by a private individual based in Norway.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Temp Mails. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Temp Mails to:

We may block access, reject mail or remove content when we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.

4. Use it for disposable purposes only

Do not use a Temp Mails address for anything you need to keep: accounts you want to recover later, password resets, banking, health, work or other sensitive information. Once an inbox expires you lose access to it for good. An address that has been deleted can later be created again by someone else, who would then receive any new mail sent to it.

5. Limits

To keep the service fair and available, limits apply. Today these include a short wait between new addresses, a maximum number of new addresses per hour, up to 50 messages or 20 MB per inbox, messages up to 6 MB, and attachments limited to PDF and common image formats. Limits may change without notice.

6. Content

We do not claim ownership of mail you receive, and we do not review it. You are responsible for how you use it. Mail is shown with scripts and remote images blocked, but be careful with links and attachments from senders you do not know.

7. Availability and no warranty

Temp Mails is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every email will arrive, or that other websites will accept our domains. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, access, accounts, profit or opportunity arising from your use of, or inability to use, Temp Mails. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes belong to the Norwegian courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
